La-Lapa

About this space

Nestled on a hillside above Plettenberg Bay, La-Lapa is the luxurious sister apartment of La-Med, elevated at treetop height with sweeping ocean and sunset views. Set away from the bustle of town, it offers a private and tranquil setting while remaining close to shops and everyday conveniences.

Mediterranean inspired and designed as a refined retreat for couples, La-Lapa combines privacy, comfort, and elevated coastal living, making it ideal for relaxed and romantic escapes in Plettenberg Bay.

The space

La-Lapa is a modern, open-plan studio accommodating two adults. The thoughtfully designed layout combines the bedroom, lounge, kitchen, and bathroom into one seamless, light-filled interior that flows directly onto a private patio overlooking the ocean and surrounding greenery.

Outdoor living is a key feature of the apartment. Guests have exclusive use of a private patio with a splash pool, a secluded courtyard with a firepit, and outdoor seating ideal for sunset viewing or relaxed evenings under the stars.

The apartment is fully self-contained with its own private entrance and secure on-site parking. While located on a shared property with another independent unit, all guest areas are separate and designed to ensure privacy.

Disclaimer: Guests stay at their own risk. The owners are not liable for any injury, accident, loss, or damage during the stay. Use of the pool, firepit, and all facilities is at your own discretion.

Guest access

Guests have exclusive use of the entire studio apartment, including the private entrance, patio, splash pool, and courtyard. Secure on-site parking is provided. The garden and parking area are the only shared spaces on the property.

Other things to note

La-Lapa's elevated hillside position offers expansive ocean and sunset views with a strong sense of privacy and natural surroundings. While the setting feels peaceful and removed, Plettenberg Bay's shops, restaurants, beaches, and attractions are all conveniently close.
