The space
SeaSalt Rest is a comfortable, self-catering guesthouse in the peaceful Poortjies area of
Plettenberg Bay, just a short stroll from the lagoon and local shops. It is an extension of the
main SeaSalt house and is fully private and separate, although guests in the main house and
their pets may be present on the property.
The guesthouse accommodates up to 4 guests and offers 2 bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom
featuring a bath, shower, toilet, and basin.
A compact kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, and basic utensils
for light meals. The cozy lounge includes a TV with full DStv access and streaming apps such as
Netflix, where guests can log in with their own accounts. WiFi is provided throughout.
Guests can relax in the peaceful garden with outdoor seating. Linen, bath towels, and essentials
such as soap, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies are provided. The unit is pet-friendly by
arrangement.

Guest access
Guests have full access to the entire SeaSalt Rest guesthouse, including 2 bedrooms, en-suite
bathrooms, the lounge area, and the kitchenette. Guests also have access to a private garden
with outdoor seating. The guesthouse is connected to the main house by a separating door,
ensuring privacy. Secure on-site parking is provided.
Other things to note
SeaSalt Rest is attached to the main SeaSalt house but is completely private, separated by a
closed interleading door. Guests in the main house and their pets may be present during your stay.
The guesthouse has its own private garden and entrance.
Cleaning is done by Ivy on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Basic amenities such as soap, toilet paper,
and cleaning products are provided. A gate at the back by the pool connects the two properties
but remains locked.
Please supervise pets at all times to prevent damage to furniture or indoor areas.
