The space
Step inside to discover an open-plan living area with plush sofas facing an HD Smart TV
(Netflix ready) and a sliding door opening onto a sunny Weber braai patio with outdoor dining
furniture, ideal for enjoying sunsets and river views. The kitchen is equipped with a
microwave, air-fryer, Nespresso machine, and breakfast counter for light meals.
Down the hallway are three serene bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. The master and
second bedroom offer queen-size beds dressed in crisp linens, while the third bedroom features
two cozy ¾ beds. Each room includes a heater for cooler evenings, and bath, hand, and swim
towels are provided.
Guests will appreciate thoughtful extras including secure lockbox check-in, fast Wi-Fi, and
stocked essentials such as tea, coffee, washing powder, and body and hand wash. With no pets,
parties, or smoking allowed, Sound of Silence offers a calm, clutter-free stay.
Just a short walk down the stairs, guests can enjoy the communal swimming pool with sun
loungers, as well as a nearby picnic or sundowner deck overlooking the water. Expansive gardens
provide space for leisurely strolls and quiet relaxation.
Parking is free and plentiful, and the lodge includes a natural jetty for guests wishing to
bring a boat. A communal tennis court is also available—please bring your own rackets and
balls.

Guest access
Guests enjoy complete, private access to the entire Sound of Silence unit. In addition, guests
have access to the communal facilities at Keurbooms River Lodge, including the swimming pool,
tennis court, walking paths, landscaped gardens, expansive lawns, and riverfront access.

No pets are allowed.
No smoking is permitted inside the apartment.
No parties, ragers, or matriculation groups are permitted.
The unit is not available for matriculation parties at the end of November.
This is a peaceful environment intended for quiet enjoyment.

Getting around Keurbooms River Lodge is easy by car, taxi, ferry, or on foot. The estate
is located just off the N2 highway, approximately 6 km (about a nine-minute drive)
from central Plettenberg Bay, with ample free on-site parking available.
Taxis and ride-share services operate throughout Plettenberg Bay and can be booked via
local apps or phone. A scenic alternative is the Keurbooms River ferry, which departs
twice daily from Plettenberg Bay Marina for a peaceful boat journey to the lodge.
For those who prefer to walk, well-maintained estate pathways lead through manicured
gardens to the riverbank and Keurbooms Beach in under 15 minutes.
