The space

Inside Sweet Streams, you'll find a welcoming open-plan living area with comfortable seating and a convenient kitchenette, equipped with a microwave, kettle, single-plate electric hob, and dishwasher for preparing light meals. This ground-floor apartment opens onto a patio overlooking the beautifully manicured gardens, with glimpses of the Keurbooms River providing a peaceful, natural setting.

The apartment comfortably accommodates up to eight guests across three bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and overhead shower. The first bedroom has two single beds and a double bed, while the second and third bedrooms each have a queen-size bed, making the apartment a comfortable choice for families or friends travelling together.

For those who prefer not to drive, taxis in Plettenberg Bay charge around ZAR 80 for a typical 5 km journey, with fares calculated at roughly ZAR 20 base plus ZAR 12 per kilometre. Ride‑share services operate similarly, and drivers can be booked via local apps or by phoning one of the area’s reputable cab companies.

A uniquely scenic option is the Keurbooms River ferry, which departs twice daily from Plettenberg Bay Marina to the river lodge. This 6 km boat ride takes about 30 minutes each way and costs ZAR 260 per person, offering a tranquil introduction to the river’s forested gorge.
