The space

Sunny, spacious, and modern open-plan living area, complete with high-speed internet and air-conditioning (heating and cooling), situated above the Robberg Pharmacy.

The main bedroom features a comfortable queen-size bed, while the second bedroom offers two single beds. Both rooms have large built-in wardrobes for ample storage.

The shared bathroom includes a walk-in shower and a handheld bidet sprayer (Shattaf) for added convenience.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, and basic utensils for light meals. Please note there is no oven or freezer. A Spar Grocery Store is located downstairs for daily fresh food purchases.

The apartment is fitted with one-way double-glazed soundproof mirror glass throughout for added privacy and insulation. Enjoy a morning coffee or sundowner on the private balcony, furnished with a high table and bar stools. Braaing is not permitted due to building regulations.

This is an upstairs apartment with an open private balcony and external staircase. Children must be under parental supervision at all times when using the balcony area.

Additional comforts include a TV with Netflix, books, a dedicated workspace, and a portable fan for warmer days. Basic toiletries and fresh linens are provided, along with a hairdryer, iron, and hangers.

Guest access

The entire 2-bedroom, smoke-free apartment is for your exclusive use during your stay. Guests have full private access to all interior areas, including the bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, living and dining area, and the private balcony.

Please note: braaing is not permitted on the balcony due to building rules. The apartment is accessed via a private staircase. Free street parking, Wi-Fi, and all listed amenities are available for guest use.

Children must be supervised at all times on the balcony and stairs for safety.

Plettenberg Bay offers a moderate climate, beautiful Indian Ocean views, and 15 kilometres of pristine beaches. The area is ideal for fishing, boating, paddling, whale watching, hiking, and outdoor adventure.

Off to the side, you’ll find a SPAR supermarket and the SPAR Liquor Store, perfect for stocking up on groceries or beach picnic supplies. Next door is the well-loved Surf Café, a local hotspot for casual meals, drinks, and live music, with more restaurants tucked below for even more dining options.

This area has a lively, friendly vibe, especially in peak holiday season, with a great mix of cafés, eateries, and shops all within easy walking distance. The nearby roundabout makes beach access simple — you’re about a 12–15 minute walk to the sand, where you can relax, swim, or watch the dolphins and whales that frequent the bay.

Getting around

One of the best things about staying at Plett Escape is that you really don’t need a car to enjoy the area — most restaurants, shops, cafés, and beaches are within easy walking distance. The neighborhood is very pedestrian-friendly, with the beach about a 12–15 minute walk away, and plenty to see and do along the way.

If you’d like to explore further afield, local taxi services and nearby car hire companies like Avis at the Beacon Island Hotel (just 800 m away) make it easy to plan day trips along the Garden Route.

Parking: Free street parking options are available with 24-hour security patrolling the area, so you can park, unpack, and start exploring on foot.
